Summit was founded by a Markham high-school teacher who spent one summer cutting lawns to cover a mortgage payment and never went back to the classroom. The first ten clients came from a single street in Unionville. Eight of them are still on our route.
We've turned down growth more than once. Doubling the crew in a season means strangers on your property and quality you can't stand behind — so we've added roughly one crew every three years, and trained every one of them ourselves.
