Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to a website that works for everyone.
Our commitment
Textum Media is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. As an Ontario business, we support the goals of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've built in
- A "skip to content" link on every page for keyboard users.
- Semantic landmarks — header, navigation, main content, and footer — on every page.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and decorative visuals hidden from screen readers.
- Labelled form fields on our booking form, with clear error messages on invalid input.
- A mobile menu and FAQ accordion that are fully keyboard-operable and correctly announce their open/closed state to screen readers.
- Support for reduced-motion preferences — animations are minimized if your system requests it.
- Text and background colours checked against WCAG AA contrast requirements (4.5:1 for body text).
Known limitations
We're a small studio and this site is a continual work in progress. Some third-party embeds (like Google Fonts) are outside our direct control. If you find something that doesn't work with your assistive technology, we want to know — see below.
Reporting an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us. We'll acknowledge your report and aim to fix genuine barriers promptly.
Email [email protected] or call (647) 692-9184. Please include the page URL and a short description of the issue — this helps us fix it faster.
Ongoing improvement
We review this statement and the site's accessibility periodically and update it as we make improvements.
